Quit and logout symbols
In the main area of the home screen you will find the symbols to use for log out or for quitting LinnéFiler.
In your configuration of LinnéFiler, one of the above may not be visible.
If the authentication method used is of "single sign on" type, only the Quit symbol is visible.
Quit
The quit FileMaker button will close all files of FileMaker including LinnéFiler.
Logout
If you use Logout button, LinnéFiler will close and you will be presented with the login screen.
In this case, FileMaker will still be running and you (or a colleague) can log in with user name and password.
The system is at "stand by" and can quickly be up and running again.
Automatic logout
If set up this way, LinnéFiler can log out automatically after a specified time of inactivity.
The time before log out is identical for all users in the clinic.
A couple of minutes before the log out, a number of remaining minutes is displayed in the window name area.
When there is only short time left, LinnéFiler goes to the home screen.
If an icon is clicked that navigates to a working screen or list, the time for log out is reset.
