Process signing to ensure constant quality
From version 5.1, it is possible to add a new function called "Process signing". You can find it in the settings of the start screen and can configure it easily for all kinds of situations in your day-to-day work at the clinic.
Why should your clinic use this new function?
With the "Process Signing" function, CSAM Fertsoft helps you to improve performance through constant validation of defined process steps during a treatment. The workflow stops if a process step was not signed-off and the system helps the user to keep all necessary steps for a treatment process in mind and on the display of the workscreen.
Your clinic will meet all demands of local regulations by keeping defined steps in order during a treatment and displaying who signed-off on each step.
Additionally your clinic can define steps to be mandatory before an Embryo Transfer (ET) is performed.
Your clinic has the freedom and flexibility to define its own process bundles to sign-off.
No clinic has the same workflow and CSAM Fertsoft is able to serve this need with the configuration of process-bundles.
Examples what your clinic could add as a process step to sign-off:
- Specific fields that infection screening was performed during a treatment can be defined before a process step can be signed-off.
- All necessary consent forms for a specific treatment are signed before proceeding to the next step.
- In treatments with donated material, the clinic has to confirm that the donor is still alive and check for any restrictions and pregnancy slots of the patient.
- The laboratory has to pass the clearance control during sperm analysis and embryo cultivation.
- The ID check of the patient and partner was performed before OPU.
- All mandatory fields are registered before the embryo passes clearance for ET.
Add bundles automatically as a standard when creating a treatment:
For the treatment types (Stim CC with OPU, Natural cycle stimulation with OPU, IUI, Stim only and FER) your clinic can define a standard bundle to be added automatically when creating the treatment.
Please note that only steps during a treatment (displayed on pages for Stimulation, OPU, Embryo cultivation, ET, Thaw, IUI, Sperm Analyses) can be configured. It is not possible to include steps of patient administration with fields from the patient component.
Be aware that only one standard bundle can be defined for a particular treatment type. Any other bundle can be defined as an add-on.
