Laboratory test results
Lab results from an externa laboratory, can be received in electronic format.
All results are stored in the Analysis table that can be accessed from the "test tube" icon at the Start screen, see Lab test results
When matched with a persons national ID number, the lab results is linked and displayed at the Investigations work screen for each person in the patient couple.
Response formats from the laboratory
The lab must have a method to send, or to give access, to the result information to an external software. The format of the information can differ a lot between labs, but there is documented formats that can be used, for example in the HL7 standards.
The project to build in lab result integration have to be examined and handled in cooperation with the laboratory used and integration developers.
